Tyler started The Royal Family KC when it was just a podcast, 'The Royal Family Podcast' at the time, covering mainly the Kansas City Royals with a little bit of KC Current coverage sprinkled in. After growing a modest little following on social media and growing more and more frustrated with the current landscape of sports media in Kansas City -- as well as the sports teams ownership -- he decided to turn what is now The Royal Family KC into a publication covering all of Kansas City sports and other small things in the KC community that need a light shone on them. With a background in writing, video editing, graphic design, social media management, audio engineering, and cinematography (all at drastically different skill levels); he manages the articles, podcasts, videos, posts, and graphics for The Royal Family KC.
