In the article, it is thought that because of Vinnie Pasquantino’s hamate fracture he will not be able to be moved before the deadline. However, I don’t believe they were aware that Vinnie’s starting a rehab assignment tonight and if it goes well, should be back right before or immediately after the All-Star break. I believe as long as Vinnie comes back by then and doesn’t look like the injury is hurting his quality of play (compared to how he was playing before it), he likely will be one of the most likely Royals to be traded. The Trade Deadline this year is August 3rd at 5 PM CT.
