You may be familiar with on of Kansas City’s newer coffeeshops Pitchside Coffee. What you might not know is this shop was founded and is owned by 6 active and former KC Current players. Maybe the most notable, because of her heavy involvement with the team still, is center back Elizabeth Ball.

Why does any of this matter? Because to my estimation, this is not just a coffee shop that was sprung to popularity because a few noteworthy people opened it. Pitchside may actually have the best quality of traditional espresso drinks in the city.
